RE: Royal Caribbean's Termination of Card Mills & MLM Companies

Greetings Valued TPI Agents:

As many of you are now aware, Royal Caribbean International (RCI) announced that it has decided to end its business relationship with some well known travel agencies including Joystar and YTB. See the actual Royal Caribbean announcement dated 10/9/07 at the bottom of this letter.

Rest assured that Travel Planners International, with our twenty year history as a host agency and our Industry respected reputation with all supplier partners is unaffected by these recent events by Royal Caribbean.

Travel Planners International is not and has never been in the “Card Mill” or "Multi Level Marketing" business. Furthermore, TPI is on the forefront of maintaining the integrity of the professional travel agent distribution system.

TPI, along with 22 other host agencies, are members of PATH - Professional Association of Travel Hosts and I personally sit on the board of directors as Treasurer. For more information on PATH, visit http://www.pathonline.travel.  Additionally, our President and my son, Ken Gagliano sits on Vacation.com's advisory board.  This truly demonstrates our commitment to the Travel Industry.

We welcome all professional agents coming from any of these travel companies affected by RCI's decision. As a safeguard, we will investigate each new agent coming aboard to protect against any type of “Card Mill” or “MLM” activity.
